Charles "Locksmith Charley" Eastwood was born in the southern half of "Dakota Territory" in the late 1950's.

At an early age my family moved around to various parts of SD, then to Seattle for awhile, Anchorage (7th birthday @ 1122 "H"  St) then my dad went "gallivanting" (as my mom would say) around the world taking jobs in such places as Saigon and Dahran Saudi Arabia. As my brother was 11 years older he was off to college so at around age 8, my "family" ended up consisting of Mom and I making me feel like an only child throughout most of my youth.

For most of my life I've suffered from wanderlust and so have lived and worked in San Jose, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Columbus Ohio, Jacksonville FL, New Orleans (for 5 years) then back to Dakota Territory for awhile while Mom's old lung cancer crept up into her head, made her silly, and killed her. In 2001 I followed a girl out to Arizona where, for some odd reason, (likely because "20° below and 6 feet of snow is NOT my idea of a good time) I've remained for the last 16 years which represents the longest I've lived in any one area in my adult life.

I bought a shop which consumed a lot of money in overhead so I went mobile only a few years later.

When the "recession" hit in around 2008 I started wondering why I wasn't getting anywhere near the amount of "new customer" calls that I'd been getting for years so I started researching and discovered that the internet was being saturated by "THE INVASION OF THE LOCKSMITH SCAMMERS" who typically used hundreds of phony addresses together with unscrupulous bait and switch tactics to rip off unsuspecting consumers so I started fighting them in court and in the media. I started "The Locksmith Charley Show" on 1100 KFNX which soon became "The Locksmith Show" when I was joined by Andrew McColley of Andrew's Lock And Key The show was discontinued after about 9 months because I simply couldn't afford to continue paying for it.

In 2015 I was elected SouthWest Director of the Associated Locksmiths of America or "ALOA Security Professionals Association, Inc" as they like to be called now, and ran again unopposed in 2017 - guess who won!

I continue to perform Residential, Commercial, and Automotive locksmith services and I also do SAFE OPENING and servicing which I would like to specialize in.

I have a few "friendly competitor" locksmith friends who I utilize from time to time as independent contractors when I do get overbooked or when I have to spend time out of town for ALOA events and board meetings and the like.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to call and ask, or if you need help, feel free to call for a quote!

Have a GREAT DAY!
Charley
